ClaySpace NFP is a non-profit charity that’s MISSION is:
To develop, sustain and promote a not-for-profit art-centered community that provides
outstanding educational, artistic and collaborative programs in the ceramic arts to its
Resident Artists and to the general public. ClaySpace does this by providing 32 artists the opportunity to have 24 hours access to the supplies and equipment needed to produce ceramic works of art at a price they can afford. ClaySpace offers classes to the general public on a quarterly basis; contracting with well qualified instructors to provide outstanding education to our students.
ClaySpace reaches out to the public through The Clay People, ClaySpace’s ceramics club. Our
club is open the general public and meets approximately once a month: brining in guest
artist’s for demonstrations and lectures, having ceramic competitions, and sales, and doing
charitable works like the Empty Bowls fundraiser for area food banks. The MISSION of the
Clay People ceramic club is to further knowledge, skill, and growth in ceramics. ClaySpace, and our ceramics club The Clay People, admit people of any race, color, national and ethnic origin.
